The coronavirus is spreading like a wildfire in India. The country now stands on the seventh position of the most affected countries list. More than 1.9 lakh people got infected with the virus and around 5500 people have lost their lives. Mumbai became the most affected city of COVID-19. Every day, the city is witnessing new cases of more than 1000. From the last few days, we are hearing the cases of many Bollywood celebrities as well. The latest we hear is that Reliance Entertainment CEO Shibashish Sarkar also got hospitalized due to the coronavirus. Apparently, he is doing well now.
According to a news report, Shibashish tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently getting treated at Kokilaben Hospital. His close aids stated that he is doing well and there is nothing to worry about.
Reliance Entertainment is distributing two upcoming releases, Sooryavanshi and 83. The former was initially slated for the release on March 24 and the latter was actually supposed to hit the screens on April 10. But the lockdown has resulted in the indefinite postponement of their releases. The new release dates will get confirmed only after the situation comes back to a normal state. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Sooryavanshi features Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. On the flip side, 83 is being directed by Kabir Khan. It features Ranveer Singh in the lead role. It is a sports drama, based on the famous 1983 World Cup victory of the Indian Cricket Team.
