It’s quite a film. After all Savyasachi will see Chandoo Mondeti, a diehard Nagarjuna fan, bring in his best to give Naga Chaitanya the much desired image makeover. The actor, on his part, felt that it would be great to team up with the filmmaker once again after the success of Premam. And from the promos, it feels like they’ve come up with a new age action thriller that will keep the audiences on the edge of their seats. Starring Niddhi Agerwal as the female lead, the film is high on expectations.
LIVE UPDATES :
*A mysterious introduction of Arun and scientifically gripping introduction of Naga Chaitanya.. . if you miss the starting of the film you might be a little confused, ensure to be early.
* Naga Chaitanya plays an Ad director, Vennela Kishore his assistant/ friend. NC looks fresh as usual, this time around pulled some more crowd to theatres. Probably the impact of Shailaja reddy alludu.
* Full blown Hello guru Prema kosame song on screen for few seconds brings back nostalgia. Happens right after heroines cliched introduction.
*2nd song in a flashback college episode. It’s just going on a flat pace - not boring and not extraordinarily funny either, which is not a bad sign at all.
*First fight - A replica of the famous premam fight with Nagarjuna’s swag added to it. Naga Chaitanya looked more than extraordinary in those 5 minutest! Wowed!
*1980 retro song looked adorable on screen. Much better than what’s been out as a teaser, 80’s kids are gonna love it & 90’s kids are going to know about it. Good attempt.
*Audience already sensed some strong past connection between Madhavan and Naga Chaitanya. Nothings been revealed in 1 hour into the film, except a glimpse of Madhavan. Comedians, Heroine & Naga Chaitanya are pulling the show fairly well.
*Yet another song in 1 half. This one set up in New York. Story urgently need to make a changeover after this song, not keeping the audience hanging for too long. Heroine is just fine.
*Just as expected an unexpected turn takes place in his life. Madhavan enters as a storm as he metaphorically mentions. Cat and mouse tale btwn Madhavan & Naga Chaitanya takes off on a high note .
*Padhi nimishallo Padma Vyuham... interval bang. Looking for To it.
*First half passed away with no excellent points, neither was it boring. Sometimes it’s alright to let go flashback / college scenes to kill screen time. Naga Chaitanya is impressive so far kind of holding everything together with sincerity.
*'Subadhra parinayam’ skit comedy track didn’t work at all. Non linear screenplay doesn’t always work when director planned to pull off a cat-and-mouse chase. It loses its psychological intensity!
*Madhavan is quite Impressive as usual. NC unfolds with the help of his left hand of course & finds out what’s and who’s of Maddy playing Arun.
*Pacing towards the end with good action sequences included. Over all plot may be predictable to many. What might hold on the audience will be Madhavan for sure.
*Both Naga Chaitanya and Maddy are winners in a little more than an average movie. Concept wise it could’ve done so much better than it is. Overall a decent watch for those action sequences, music , Maddy & Chay.
