It's time to celebrate for Selena Gomez's fans as the American pop star is all set to make a comeback on television. Yes, you read that right! The 'Kill 'em With Kindness' singer has been tapped for Hulu's latest comedy series called 'Only Murders in the Building'. The 28-year old was last seen acting in Disney's show 'Wizards of Waverly Place', after which she embarked on her journey to become a singer.
Only Murders in the Building will see Selena co-acting opposite Steve Martin and Martin Short. The story revolves around three strangers, keen on stooping into crime stories who end up stuck into their own. The Rare brand owner is also co-producing the show along with Martin, Short, John Hoffman, as well as This Is Us creators Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal of Rhode Ave.
"I heard the pitch on Wednesday, and it was the best hour I had all week. It’s really special, surprisingly emotional. It’s really modern and self-referential about podcasts and murders, it’s got some great surprises. When they pull this off, it’s going to be really special," reported a leading Hollywood website. Gomez earlier produced the famous Netflix show called '13 Reasons Why' and docu-series called 'Living Undocumented'. Stay tuned with Xappie for more latest updates on Hollywood.
