As the nation battles with COVID-19, masks and PPE kits are advisable for all the frontline warriors. In order to help them raise their security, Shah Rukh Khan donated 2000 PPE Kits to the warriors in Chhattisgarh. Through his non-charitable organisation called Meer Foundation. On Friday, The Chief Cabinet Minister of Chattisgarh, TS Singh Deo took to his social media handle to thank the Main Hoon Na actor.
"I express my heartfelt gratitude to @iamsrk& @MeerFoundation for providing PPE kits to protect our frontline warriors. Thanks, @rajshriartist for connecting us and making this possible. Your generosity has inspired many more to protect our healthcare heroes," he tweeted. Earlier as well, SRK donated during this pandemic to the PM CARES FUND through his various companies such as Red Chillies, KKR IPL team, Meer Foundation, etc. His wife, Gauri Khan also donated to the PM Cares fund for the welfare of the warriors and all those affected in the pandemic.
