Shah Rukh Khan was recently seen in Zero, which received unflattering reviews from critics and audience alike. It is said that box office collection of Zero on its opening days was not impressive considering SRK’s stature.
According to the latest reports, SRK will next be seen in the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster flick Vikram Vedha. It is to be noted that SRK will reprise Vijay Sethupathi’s role in the Hindi version.
In the original, Madhavan played the role of an upright police officer while Vijay Sethupathi essayed the role of a most-wanted gangster from the North Madras area.
Neeraj Pandey, who is one of the producers of the Hindi remake, will be directing the film as well. It is said that Neeraj had discussions with the original director duo Pushkar and Gayathri while developing the script.
In an earlier interview, a source revealed, “Shah Rukh loved Vijay Sethupathi's character. He found Vedha more edgy and interesting. After watching the film, he knew that if he remade it, he would play the grey character of Vedha.”
