Shamita Shetty who is the sister of actress Sushmita Shetty recently opened up about being single. The actress said that she is fed up with being single and also feels lonely at times. However, the actress also said that she never lets her loneliness come in between her decisions as she does not the two emotions mix together.
Speaking to Times of India Shamita said, "I think my family is so fed up of seeing me single. They truly just want to see me happy with someone soon. And quite honestly, I’m fed up of being single too."
"When it comes to your partner, you have to choose the right person, knowing you can live with them for the rest of your life, learn from each other and grow in every way... spiritually, intellectually etc. I’m not someone who will make a decision in haste and let loneliness decide the wrong partner for me,” she added.
A few years ago Shamita had also spoken about her opinions on marriage. She said, “People don’t respect each other and let go so easily, so till I find someone whom I really connect with, I won’t settle down. I don’t care when that happens — even if it’s at the age of 40 or 50. I don’t want to get someone in my life who is going to hamper my state of mind. I do believe there is someone out there for everyone. I don’t know what is taking him so long, he needs to find his way to me, it is about time. I do miss having a companion in life, and that’s what you want after a certain."
