Shruti Haasan is under home quarantine and will resume shooting for Krack soon, says director Gopichand Malineni

Director Gopichand Malineni is currently busy with the works of his upcoming directorial film Krack. This action entertainer features Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. The film marks the comeback of Shruti Haasan into Telugu cinema after a gap of three years. She was last seen in the 2017 film Kaatamarayudu. Shruti is in Hyderabad now to shoot for Krack. Gopichand said that she is under home-quarantine now and will join the sets very soon.

Speaking in an interview with a news daily, Gopichand said that Shruti came back to Hyderabad right when the Telangana government permitted the resumption of film shoots. She drove all the way from Mumbai to Hyderabad. She is now under home quarantine and will join the sets very soon. The director lauded her dedication to work. Gopichand had worked with her earlier for the film Balupu.

Krack forms the reunion between Gopichand Malineni, Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan and music director Thaman. All of them have earlier worked together for Balupu. The shooting of Krack is in the final stages. It was initially slated for the release on May 8. But the lockdown has ruined the makers' plans. Currently, the team is focussing on the completion of the shoot. The new release date will get announced once the theaters reopen across the country. Samuthirakani and Varalakshmi Sharathkumar are playing the other important roles in the movie. Krack features Ravi Teja as a police officer. It is being bankrolled by Tagore Madhu.
