Singer Sona Mohapatra slams Salman Khan for his PR stunt concerning the death of Sushant Singh Rajput

Salman Khan and his family cannot seem to get a break. Earlier last week film-maker Abhinav Kashyap claimed that Salman Khan and his family ruined his career in Bollywood. Abhinav said that Salman and his family use their connections in the underworld and money to bully everyone. While Arbaaz Khan and others have filed a legal case against Kashyap, singer Sona Mohapatra has also slammed Salman Khan.

Sona Mohapatra recently called out Salman Khan and said that he is the face of toxic masculinity in the country. The singer retweeted one of Salman Khan's recent tweets and said it is nothing but a PR stunt. She wrote, “A ‘large hearted’ PR move from the one & only poster boy of toxic masculinity!Of course he felt no such need to tweet or apologise for the vile threats that his digital paid army sent out to intimidate & bully others in the past. Got his dad to speak everytime he screwed up."

On Saturday evening Salman Khan tweeted out a message for his fans concerning the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Salman wrote, "A request to all my fans to stand with Sushant’s fans and not to go by the language and the curses used but to go with the emotion behind it. Please support and stand by his family and fans as the loss of a loved one is extremely painful."

Sona Mohapatra has also backed others against Salman Khan in the past. The singer previously supported Priyanka Chopra for walking out of Salman Khan's film Bharat. Sona later received death and rape threats from Salman Khan's fans.
