Director-turned-actor SJ Suryah caught everyone off guard when he announced that he will be teaming up with Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan for a Tamil film titled Uyarndha Manithan.
The film, directed by Tha Tamilvanan, will mark Amitabh Bachchan's debut film in Tamil. Uyarndha Manithan was launched on August 30 and since then there has been no update on the same.
Now, SJ Suryah took to Twitter to share some interesting tidbts about the film. He wrote, ""Happy Christmas-love and peace to all ...Project # “The Great man”(Hindi) / “Uyarndha Manidhan”(Tamil) is going on to the next stage....exciting points has been discussed with @SrBachchan shaab...stay tuned...exciting updates soon...sharing it with @rajinikanth always thx (sic)"
The Tamil-Telugu bilingual is expected to go on floors sometime this year. On August, Rajinikanth welcomed Amitabh Bachchan with open hands. In a video message, he said, ""I extend my hearty welcome to my respected friend Amitabh. He being a part of Tamil cinema makes the industry blessed. Also, I'm happy that Suryah is making his Hindi debut with this film. I hope Uyarndha Manithan turns out to be successful."
