Sonam Kapoor penned a message saying the hate towards her post for Sushant Singh Rajput's demise is affecting her family

Sushant Singh Rajput's demise invited many celebrities to share their condolences towards the actor and his family. Celebrities like From Karan Johar to Salman Khan paid their respect. However, they were equally trolled by the media who accused some of the nepotism. Sonam Kapoor stepped up against these trolls and bashed them for indulging in this blame game regarding his death. Post this, Sonam too got trolled. To this Sonam wrote a message about the effects of this hate on her family. She later deleted the post though she mentioned turning off her comments to avoid the negativity.

She also mentioned the Indo-China border tension and urged people to speak up. She wrote, "Hey guys I usually don’t shy away from hate and negativity because I feel sorry for the people who have so much hate in their hearts as it harms them more than me. But it’s triggering my friends and family. I understand that they are paid bots and people who are pushing a conservative right wing agenda. But right now is the time to speak about the lives lost at the borders and the lives affected by the lockdown. I’m turning off my comments.”

Sonam initial message which said, Blaming a girlfriend , ex girlfriend, family , colleagues for someone’s death is ignorant and fu*king mean spirited.” was met with immense criticism. To this, she shared a photo of her family and husband writing how they were in support of her actions.
