As the world is struggling to fight the pandemic, the daily wage workers are the worst section of people who have been affected. In order to help them, Bollywood star Sonu Sood gave his financial aid to 25000 workers. And now, the actor arranged around ten buses to help commute 350 workers to their home. Speaking about the same to a leading daily, the actor said that every time he goes out and sees these people struggling, he feels bad.

"People talk about how they don’t know what and how to help. But it’s really possible in so many ways. Every time I went out to get rations, I would see hundreds of people... children, old people, young men and women, carrying heavy loads, walking down the street to get back homes. I would stop them and request, ‘Aap log ruk jao, main kuch intezam karunga’. While some listened, some didn’t. Since that time, I’ve been trying to figure out ways to send these people home, ” he said

He further said that he can't see people sleeping empty stomachs while we bake cakes at our home. "I can’t see people sleep empty stomach while we are baking cakes and desserts at home. There is a place called Kalwa Chowk in Mumbai that many migrant workers have been passing by daily. Early in the morning, my trucks filled with fruits and refreshments reach the place for these people."

Sonu Sood also provided his hotel in Juhu in order to help the healthcare workers.
