Raja Kumarudu is the debut of Superstar Mahesh Babu as a solo hero in the film industry. K Raghavender Rao is the director of the movie. C Aswini Dutt produced the movie under Vyjayanthi Movies banner. Not just for Mahesh Babu, the film is also the first one for Priety Zinta in Telugu. Superstar Krishna too did a guest appearance in the film. The fans are thrilled to see both Mahesh and Krishna sharing the screen space together in the movie. Rajakumarudu earned the state Nandi Award for Akkineni Award for Best Home-viewing Feature Film. The film tells a love tale.
