Raja Kumarudu is the debut of Superstar Mahesh Babu as a solo hero in the film industry. K Raghavender Rao is the director of the movie. C Aswini Dutt produced the movie under Vyjayanthi Movies banner. Not just for Mahesh Babu, the film is also the first one for Priety Zinta in Telugu. Superstar Krishna too did a guest appearance in the film. The fans are thrilled to see both Mahesh and Krishna sharing the screen space together in the movie. It's been 21 years since the time movie released.

 
Rajakumarudu earned the state Nandi Award for Akkineni Award for Best Home-viewing Feature Film. The film tells a love tale. Raja loves Rani and they want to take their relationship to the next stage. However, due to family compulsions, the duo breaks off their relationship. Later, when he is not at all expecting her to see again, he gets hit with a surprise. The film has become a big hit during the time of release.
 
The movie's album scored by Mani Sharma is a big hit back then. The movie still manages to keep the audiences engaged now and then when it gets premiered on the television. The fans are celebrating the occasion today, sharing some pictures from the film.
