Earlier today, Nandamuri Balakrishna made sensational comments on the Telugu film industry bigwigs. He said that no one has informed about the meetings with the Telangana government. He stated that he only came to know about it through the media reports. Balakrishna cross-questioned on how can he attend the meetings without any invitation. Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav responded to these comments. He said that only active members from the industry are attending the meetings.
Talasani spoke with the media this evening. He said that only active members of the film and television industry are attending the meetings with the government. Talasani asserted that he has no problem if everyone wants to attend the meetings. He added that if someone wants to be there in the meetings, they can come from next time.
Talasani has distributed daily essentials to 14000 cine and TV workers this morning. The event got held at Annapurna Seven Acres in Hyderabad. Celebrities like Nagarjuna, Dil Raju , Trivikram and SS Rajamouli have attended this event. They have thanked Talasani for his noble gesture. Talasani took up this initiative through his Talasani Seva Trust. He said that the Telangana Government will soon pass a GO to allow the film shoots. If the ongoing sources are anything to go by, the shootings will resume from mid-June. The government will soon issue the guidelines that need to get followed in the shoot locations. The makers should follow these guidelines until the situation gets back to the normal state. Meanwhile, we hear that the theaters may not reopen for the next two or three months.
