With the exception of NOTA, Vijay Devarakonda has delivered a string of hits at the box office making him the face of new age Telugu cinema. The actor has carved a niche for himself with roles that are relatable to today's youth. In his latest venture, Taxiwaala, Vijay plays a regular youth on the lookout for a job after graduation. He winds up driving a vintage car that is possessed, taking him on unexpected adventures. There is a mystery element too in the film, which compels the audience. He plays the boy, who took long to pass out of his college and is on a job hunt.
The movie is all about a man and his four wheeled machine. Foraying into the rare horror comedy genre, Taxiwaala is directed by Rahul Sankrityan and produced by GA2 Pictures & UV Creations.
Priyanka Jawalkar made her debut with this film. We have to wait and watch how she is received in the future. But her debut with Vijay, especially at this juncture is going to boost her career. The movie is fairing well at the box office with its pre booking.
