We all are aware of how badly the film industry got hit with the coronavirus pandemic. Especially, the poor and daily wage workers got left with no source of income from the last two months. To help such poor workers in the Telugu film industry, Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has come forward. He has decided to donate daily essentials and groceries to 14000 poor workers in the industry. These goods will get distributed tomorrow at Annapurna Seven Acres. Industry bigwigs Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, SS Rajamouli, Trivikram, Chinna Babu, C. Kalyan, and N. Shankar will attend the event tomorrow.

The distribution program will happen at 11.30 AM tomorrow. Talasani has donated the goods through his Talasani Seva Trust. The industry members are making sure that all the goods will get distributed to the people who are in need. Already, the industry has set up a Corona Crisis Charity (CCC) fund. This fund is to donate daily essentials to the poor cine workers. Almost all the actors and technicians have donated to this fund. Now, the support from the government has come in like a breath of relief for the workers.

Meanwhile, Talasani held a meeting today with the producers and Artists associations. He discussed the resume of the shoots. He assured that the government will bring the best policy to revive the glory of the film industry. An official announcement regarding the resumption of shoots will get announced soon. Meanwhile, the Minister has already stated that the theaters will not open for the next 2-3 months.
