We all know about Rana’s typical script selection which he has set at high standards considering the flow of Commercial movies these days. Even after taking huge applause for Bahubali, he hasn’t opted for any commercial movies after that to cash his craze. Now he has jetted off to the "jungles of Kerala" for the shoot of his upcoming film "Haathi Mere Saathi”.
Rana tweeted: "Morning... Off into the jungles of Kerala for filming 'Haathi Mere Saathi'." It is an animal drama also featuring Pulkit Samrat, Vishnu Vishal, Zoya Hussein, and Kalki Koechlin.
Eros International presenting this project as “Kaadan” in Tamil and “Aranya” in Telugu. This movie is being shooted with man-animal based personal attachments which will be conveyed emotionally and also as a tribute to the movie “Haathi Mere Saathi” from 1971 starring Rajesh Khanna and Tanuja.
Helmed by Prabhu Solomon it is being shot trilingual simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi and across several languages. While Rana, Zoya and Kalki feature in all the three language films, Pulkit's character will be essayed by southern actor Vishnu Vishal in the Tamil and Telugu versions along with actor Raghu Babu. It is said the Resul Pookutty’s sound designing will stand out of the box along with Shantanu Moitra’s scores.
