Zareen Khan is one of those rare newcomers who got a chance to work with Salman Khan in an early film. Khan made her Bollywood debut opposite Salman himself in the 2010 film Veer. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla Zareen Khan opened up about the difficulties she faced before she made her Bollywood debut. She revealed that she had to take her first job immediately after finishing high school. She said that she wanted to support her mother and her sister as soon as possible when her father left and abandoned the family.
She further added saying, "There was that one evening that changed our lives completely. My dad had walked out on us and left us. We didn’t have any money because we didn’t come from a space of inherited wealth. There was this one night where we were all there together as a family, and suddenly my mother broke down completely."
"I tried calming her and explained that she doesn’t have to worry, I’ll take care of everything. Ab maine bol toh diya tha (I said it) but here I was, with over 100 kilos not knowing what I want to do," she added.
Zareen Khan revealed that her first job was at a call center. Meanwhile, she wanted to take up a job at an airline company. She also said that she lost 52 khs during this period and it felt like she moved on to a new life. She also said that her mother is very proud of her journey and for her help.
