Victory Venkatesh to take a break this year from shootings to begin afresh in 2021 after normalcy is restored

The coronavirus pandemic has hit the film industry very hard. All the movie shoots were on a halt for two months. The government allowed the resumption of shoots last month. However, only a few television shows and serials are proceeding with the shooting works and not the films. All the major films are still on a halt and are not in a mood to resume works until the situation gets back to normalcy. The sources claim that hero Daggubati Venkatesh has decided not to shoot this year and will resume all his shootings only next year.

Venkatesh is currently working for the film Narappa. The film got done with more than half of its shoot. The remaining portions should get filmed in the surroundings of Ananthapur. Venkatesh thought that shooting outdoor during this pandemic would not be a good idea. Considering his age and health, the actor seems to have thought it as a risky step. Thus, he decided to postpone its shoot to next year. Narappa is being directed by Sreekanth Addala. Priyamani is playing the female lead in it. Kalaipulli S Thanu and Suresh Babu are jointly bankrolling this film under their respective banners V Creations and Suresh Productions. It is an official remake of the 2019 Tamil film Asuran.

On the flip side, Venkatesh has also signed F3 under the direction of Anil Ravipudi. Now, even that film will go on the floors only in 2021.
