Nandamuri Balakrishna produced a biopic on his father, Telugu Desam party founder and former Chief Minister of combined AP state, N T Rama Rao. Nimmakuru is the native village of N T Rama Rao. As part of the promotion, the film unit visited the village. They garlanded the statues of NTR and his wife N Basava Tarakam at the village.
Vidya Balan played the role of NTR's wife in the biopic. Director Krish and NTR grand-son Kalyan Ram were also a part of the film unit.
The film unit, including film actor, turned politician N Balakrishna and popular Bollywood actress Vidya Balan visited Nimmakuru village, about 40 KM from Vijayawada, as part of the promotion of NTR biopic NTR-Kadhanayakudu on Monday.
Talking to media at the village, Balakrishna said that they had planned to organize audio release function at Nimmakuru village but due to inclement weather they organized the same in Hyderabad.
He said that NTR Kadhanayakudu biopic does belong to a particular community or group as the film belongs to all. He said that the Part I of the NTR biopic is going to be released soon and some scenes will be shot for the second part of the film.
