Vidyut Jammwal, who is winning the whistle of audiences around the country from his very first movie and manifested himself as an action man of Bollywood since then, is all set for his upcoming release "Khuda Haafiz" on Disney+ Hotstar.
The actor, commonly known for his Commando series, recently had an interview with a leading tabloid where he said - "I want to be one of the biggest action stars in the world." More than that, I am planning to spread awareness among people about the martial arts and Kalaripayattu through my films, he added.
Khuda Haafiz, which is a thriller drama said to be inspired by true stories, is Vidyut's second movie which is low in action and high on drama. When asked the actor if he is planning to give the slip to his action-hero docket in the industry, he, referring to a magazine article, said
“I do carry the weight of being one of the 10 people in the world you shouldn't mess with, but people around will vouch that I am not that brash guy, ready to pick up a fight. I don't want to sound pompous, but I want to be one of the biggest action stars in the world. I didn't come to Bollywood to be a hero.”
Vidyut further went on telling that he has always been picky with scripts and usually shows his presence during the pre-production of the movie where he never shies away from flaunting his virtuoso in Kalaripayattu. Jammwal’s recently released movie “Yaara” starring Amit Sadh, Vijay Varma, and Shruthi Haasan
is also benefiting from positive word-of-mouth and critics are claiming it - a movie full of potential.
The action-chevalier, Vidyut Jammwal, will be next seen in Khuda Haafiz movie. An action thriller film written and directed by Faruk Kabir, tells the tale of a newly married couple where the husband races against time to hunt his wife who has gone missing under mysterious circumstances. The movie will stream from 14 August 2020 on Disney+ Hotstar.
