Anniyan is a super hit Tamil film that released in the year 2005. The movie is a thriller that was made by director Shankar. V. Ravichandran of Aascar Films produced the film. The movie has talked about split personality disorder. Vikram and Sadha played the lead roles in the film. The movie also featured Nedumudi Venu, Vivek, Prakash Raj, and Nassar in the pivotal roles of the movie. The film became a big hit at the box-office giving Vikram a huge applause.

 
Although the film's production underwent a lot of delays, Vikram and Shankar did not lose the hope. They took 14 months to wrap the film up. The makers shot the movie at Hyderabad, Thanjavur, Viluppuram and Chennai. The makers also shot the film in Malaysia and Amsterdam. V. Manikandan and Ravi Varman worked on the cinematography of the film. VT Vijayan is the editor of the film. Sabu Cyril is the production designed while Peter Heins did the stunts. Harris Jayraj is the music director of the movie.
 
The film released in all South Indian states and the Telugu version Aparichithudu is a big hit. The film still attracts viewers whenever it gets screened on Television. The film is available on Youtube too.
