Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda are ready to pair up as a couple for their next rom-com "14 Phere." The movie, which is said to be highlighting social relevancy about marriage, will go on floors in November while the theatre release is due for July 9, 2021.
Zee Studios took to Instagram on Friday and uploaded a humorous video where the trio, Vikrant Massey, Kriti Kharbanda, and Devanshu Singh, the director of the movie can be seen sitting on a wedding stage conversing about marriage procession. The video then advances with Devanshu talking about embossing wedding invitations for four people which leaves the lead pairs baffled.
While nothing much has been revealed by either the actors or director about the storyline, the film which will garner the companion of Vikrant and Kriti for the first time is believed to bring something beautiful and out of the box. While asking Massey about the film, he, without spilling any beans about the movie, said - “The script hit me hard, the ideology of the film and the main thought behind the story is something that has been with me, individually.”
It’s a beautiful story that speaks of very pertinent things relevant in today’s times. I’m really looking forward to working with Kriti. I’ve seen her films and she is a very good actor! Can’t wait to get started!” He added.
On the other hand, Kriti Kharbanda talked about her character portrayal as Aditi and told that 14 Phere is a promising movie that points up the relevant issue of our society. Speaking about her title role, she said - I absolutely love the character of Aditi that I will be portraying in this film. I think I’ve become Aditi already!
Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda starrer 14 Phere, directed by Devanshu Singh and written by Manoj Kelwani is slated to release in theatres on July 9, 2021.
