Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa based short film made by Gautham Menon, starring Trisha and Simbu is bringing love vibes to social media

Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa is one of the remarkable movies in the career of Gautham Vasudev Menon. Starring Simbu and Trisha in the lead roles, this film was also a major success at the box office. Now, after a decade of its release, Gautham Menon made a short film with the same actors. Simbu and Trisha Krishnan reprised their roles of Karthik and Jessie in this cute little short film, titled Karthik Dial Seytha En. The short film is now giving full-on love vibes to the netizens and on the other side, fans are asking Gautham to make a sequel for the film soon.

The short film starts off with Karthik (now an established director) on a writer's block due to the lockdown. He feels low and he thinks only Jessie can get him out of this. Immediately, he calls up Jessie (who is now married and has two kids as well). They discuss how their lockdown lives are going on and soon the conversation moves to an intimate discussion between two souls. It is the magic of Gautham Menon's writing where he can bring out the love in simple conversations as well.

The background score of AR Rahman brought more romantic vibes to the film. The editing got done by Anthony. The film got filmed at the respective homes of Trisha and Simbu where they shot themselves with an iPhone. Well, going by the response, the director might consider the idea as well.
