While senior directors thanks government for shoot permissions, Mahanati director Nag Ashwin questions the government and does the right thing

Mahanati director Nag Ashwin is one of the filmmakers with social responsibility. The talented filmmaker has now raised his voice against the government of Telangana over the protest of Junior doctors at Gandhi hospital. Tagging Telangana health minister Eetala Rajender, Nag Ashwin posed a valid question. Nag Ashwin asked, how much longer will we deny about testing. He demands that the Gandhi hospital must get funds like that of Hitech city. Nag Ashwin also raised the issue of the hike in fee for PG this year.

Gandhi Hospital needs the sort of attn and funds that hitech city gets. almost 100days after covid started, doctors are on the road in the rain. begging for help! Pg fees increased this year!! Not fair! Testing testing. how much longer will we deny ppl this @Eatala_Rajender sir." posted Nag Ashwin on his Twitter profile.

While the senior directors like SS Rajamouli and Koratala Siva are extending gratitude to the governments for giving shoot permissions, the young filmmaker is doing the right thing in the need of the hour. It is everyone's responsibility to open up and raise voice against the injustice.

We have to see if anyone from the government responds to the issue.
