Yaara to Shakuntala Devi, time for binge-watch as Bollywood gears up for a digital battle on last two days of July

The last two days of July are going to be a battle of Bollywood on various streaming platforms. With four Hindi films releasing on July 30 and 31, expectations on all these films are high especially after there have been not many films released post lockdown.
 
Raat Akeli Hai: This film will stream on Netflix on July 31 and has a lot of hype around it. When a newly married landlord is murdered, a misfit cop’s investigation is complicated by the victim’s secretive family and his own conflicted heart. This is the crux of the story and stars the Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Khalid Tyabji, and others in key roles.
 
Shakuntala Devi: This film is a biopic on Shakuntala Devi, who was also known as ‘human computer’. The film stars Vidya Balan, Jisshu Sengupta, Sanya Malhotra, Amit Sadh, and others in lead roles. The film is directed by Anu Menon and will stream on Amazon Prime Video from July 31. The trailer is already out and is a super hit
 
Yaara: This Hindi film is a crime drama directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and stars Vidyut Jamwal, Shruti Haasan, Amit Sadh, Vijay Varma, Kenny Basumatary and others in lead roles. This film will stream on Zee 5 from July 30.
 
Loot Case: This film was slated for release in April 2020 but couldn’t make it to theatres due to the pandemic. Lootcase revolves around a middle-aged family man, who comes across a red-colored suitcase full of money. Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, Lootcase also stars Rasika Duggal, Gajraj Rao, Ranvir Shorey, and Vijay Raaz. It will stream on Zee5 from July 31.
