Govt opposes plea to ban non-Hindus in Sabarimala

The government on Monday submitted an affidavit at the court opposing the plea seeking a ban on the entry of non-Hindus in Sabarimala.
 
There are totally different versions referring to the possession of Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple. Thousands of Muslims and Christians make the temple every year. The devotional song ‘Harivarasanam’ is sang by Yesudas, a Christian, declared the instrument.
 
RSS leader TG Mohandas had submitted a plea at the HC requesting to not permit non-Hindus to enter Sabarimala.
