The Congress in its manifesto for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections has passed through the path of Hindu satisfaction, related to the right-wing Bharatiya Janata Party at the Centre.
Headed by veteran leader Kamal Nath in the state, the party in its election manifesto for the Madhya Pradesh polls has said that if they come to power, then ‘shakhas’ of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh would not be allowed in government buildings and premises. The Congress further said that an earlier order to allow government employees to attend RSS ‘shakhas’ will also be revoked.
BJP came down heavily on the Congress for the RSS ‘shakhas’ mention in their manifesto.
“Looks like the Congress these days has only one motto - Mandir nahi ban ne denge, Shakha nahi chalne denge (Won’t let us build the Ram temple, won’t let us run RSS shakhas),” BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said.
