All the parties in Telangana are getting ready for the battle in terms of elections to be held on December 7th. It is said that the elections will commence on Monday when the election commission notifies and the nomination process begins. TRS candidates waiting since the dissolution of assembly on September 6th are ready to go and get their seats. But the opposition parties still seem to be confused. November 19th will be the last date for filing of nominations as said by Election Commission. It also said that the elections will take place in a single phase on December 7th and the results will be declared on 11th December. The Mahakootami that consists of Congress, TDP, TJS and CPI, is still struggling to seal the seat sharing deal. Congress gave 25 seats for its alliance parties. Among these, TDP gets 14, TJS gets 8 and three for CPI. While CPI is demanding Congress to give it 5 segments, the TJS is in talks with congress to give the segments of its choice.
Since last few weeks, there has been war of words between TDP and TRS. And TRS has been commenting on opportunistic politics in alliance forming. BJP this time tied up with Yuva Telangana Party but will contest individually in most of the segments.
