TERROR blast in Punjab : 3 Dead and 20 injured

Punjab’s Amritsar had to face a bomb blast killing 3 people and severely injuring 20 people. It is too unfortunate, that a grenade was thrown on a religious congregation on Sunday night. Two motorcycle-borne youth, who were masked had hurled the grenade on the Nirankari Bhavan in Rajasansi village of Amritsar. A religious, Congregation was being conducted in the Bhavan at that time. Director General Of Police Suresh Arora and some senior police officers rushed to the spot. They said that this incident was appearing to be a terrorist act. After the incident, the Bhavan was sealed by the police and security was also stepped up at other Nirankari Bhavans. No CCTV was installed in the premises. CM Capt Amarinder Singh said that the involvement of ISI-based Khalistani/Kashmiri terror groups is possible. It is well known that Punjab had already gone through dark days of militancy in the 1980s and also faced few terror attacks in recent years along with one in Pathankot over two years. He said the state won't let the "forces of terror" to destroy the hard-earned peace. He directed the police to immediately enhance security arrangements at all sensitive paces. Also to the spot, forensic teams had run and all angles were being investigated
