The Central Election Commission has allotted a party symbol to Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena, about four and a half years after the political party's formation. The symbol is that of a glass tumbler, with which the Jana Sena can participate in the upcoming national elections in 2019 from the 25 constituencies in Andhra Pradesh and 17 constituencies in Telangana. While the Central Election Commission issued a notification in this regard, the Jana Sena party's official page on social media also acknowledged the Election Commission's issuance of the symbol. The commission also issued symbols to 29 other newly registered parties across the country.
Pawan Kalyan has announced that he would start his campaigns aggressively and tours across the state in an attempt to reach out to all people. He is scheduled to be in Amravati from January 1st for meeting with leaders.
