Among many wars of words, one such cold war is between two CEOs of International companies. There has been a cold war running between the CEO of APPLE and CEO of FACEBOOK. Both the companies have their own reputation and standards in the society.
At one side we see most of the people using Apple products which are mostly used for using Facebook. And to the other side is Facebook being widely used in any device possible. None of these are rival to each other. In no matter is their business similar. Both of these companies work on their own fields. But still, there is a cold war running in between them. It all started after Facebook got compromised in terms of its security in maintaining the privacy of its users. It had to suffer a security breach that had stolen a large amount of user’s private data. And this had become a great issue of concern to its CEO. And Facebook’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, in his speech later had said that this breach has been rectified and added that more precautions will be taken in future.
Addressing this, Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook had said that Privacy to human is a human right and that it is a liberty. He also criticized Facebook for collecting user’s personal data. Recently, according to a report by the New York Times, Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg had ordered his management to use the only android phone and not to use any of Apple’s iPhones. This decision of Facebook CEO may lead to further consequences in this cold war to get heated up. Hope this war gets over soon.
