In October, Bigg Boss 16 debuted with a bang and quickly rose to the top of the ratings. The show's current season features some of the most well-known figures in the entertainment business. Over the previous few weeks, relationships between candidates in the house have developed. However, as time goes on, the participants' relationships are also changing. Sumbul Touqeer and her friend Shalin Bhanot engaged in a fierce fight in the most recent episode.
Abdu Rozik, the house captain, intervenes in the episode to prevent the nominations of Shiv Thakare, Sajid Khan, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, and MC Stan. The remaining competitors had to participate in the elimination task, where they needed to collect the most roses to avoid being eliminated. Three contestants were brought to the platform to make their defences: Sumbul Touqeer, Tina Datta, and Gautam Singh Vig. Tina argued that Sumbul should be permitted to go home since she wanted to. On the other hand, she claimed that Gautam was an unfair captain. They had to be given flowers by the contestants. Only one rose was given to Sumbul, and it came from Shalin Bhanot.
After Shalin handed Sumbul one rose, Abdu approached her and warned her to watch out for their friendship. When Sumbul later approached Shalin to talk to her about her behaviour, he became quite enraged. He only gave her one rose, she claimed, even though she had given him many more in order to save him. She informed him that Tina Datta is the only friend he has. She was also upset when Tina mentioned that Sumbul wished to return home because she had only disclosed this to them when she was at her most vulnerable. She was seen breaking down in tears as she declared that Shalin had never stood by her, and as a result, their friendship had ended.
