Within a few weeks following the premiere of the new season, Bigg Boss 16 rose to the top of the television viewing lists. The winner of the previous captaincy job, Gautam Singh Vig, was named the house captain. The candidates are now vying to become the new captain of the house, and the competition is heating up.
One of the competitors is Priyanka Choudhary, and Bigg Boss encourages the other contestants to put obstacles in her path so she can win the challenge. Ankit tries to aid Priyanka in winning but Archana blocks her with water.

In the game, Gori Nagori was seen battling many challenges. During the captaincy task, she was rushing to retrieve a pail of water to dump on Priyanka when she was horribly injured. Ankit tries to apologize to Gori for her behaviour after seeing her sobbing uncontrollably. Everyone in the home made an effort to soothe Gori. She cried on, refusing to accept what was happening.
