The Bigg Boss celebrity Sapna Choudhary turned herself into the Lucknow court on Monday. A detainer was placed with the singer. After accepting the advance payment in 2018 and failing to perform at the event, she encountered legal issues. Sapna turned herself in after being accused of cheating.
In August of this year, a warrant for the singer and dancer from Haryana was issued. The musician had to appear before Lucknow's ACJM court after the organizers carried the case through the legal system.
The occurrence happened on October 13, 2018. The cost of each ticket for the show, according to reports, was Rs 300. Tickets were sold both online and offline. At the celebration, thousands of people attended, but Sapna was absent. The audience caused a commotion at the venue and their money was not given back at that time either. According to reports, Sapna had received lakhs in advance but skipped the function.
The Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police filed a case against Sapna Choudhary in February 2021 on suspicions of fraud and breach of trust. An accusation of criminal breach of trust, criminal conspiracy, cheating, and misappropriation of funds was made against Sapna and several other people, including her mother and brother, by the celebrity management business that was looking after her.
