Day 38 begins with Priyanka Choudhary and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia yelling at one another and fighting over food. Ankit is surprised by Abdu and his pals at midnight with a cake for his birthday. Gautam is informed by Priyanka that they intended to hurt her feelings. The following morning, Sajid warns Gori against feeding Gautam privately. Gori gave the gram flour to Stan as well, Soundarya says as she hands it back. Gori tries to provide explanations, but Sajid cautions her against doing so.
To make Shalin envious, Tina gives Shiv a hug. Ankit tells Priyanka that he can sense her distress but is unsure of why. He is reminded by Priyanka that she has no expectations of him. Priyanka, Archana, and Gautam all mention how powerless Stan feels. Tina explains to Shalin that nothing has harmed her reputation. Shalin addresses the camera, emphasizing that they both are just friends.
Nimrit only likes Sajid as a friend, so he asks Abdu for a promise that he won't fall in love with her. Abdu says he does love her, but not that much, and declines to make a promise. Stan tells Bigg Boss that he is stuck in the middle of everyone's fights and that he feels awful for not taking a side in any of them since he can't stay in the house because of everyone's fakeness. While Shiv defended Nimrit and feels horrible for spoiling his birthday, Priyanka complained to Ankit about how he had not stood up for her. Ankit tells her not to be concerned about his birthday. She sobs, complaining that she has done nothing for his birthday and that they were trying to humiliate her by surprising him. Stan is tasked by Bigg Boss with selecting between Gori and Shiv's ration. Stan selects Shiv's meal. Tina becomes irate when Sumbul delivers Sajid's ration rather than her own. Shalin scolds Sumbul. Tina says Shalin got in the way of her trying to clarify something.
