One of them, Uttaran, also went on to become a classic, and Ichcha became well-known. The lead actress, Tina Datta, was and continues to be regarded as an iconic figure. She was one of the first female actors on Indian television to play two roles in one show. At the moment, Tina is causing a stir both online and off in the Bigg Boss 16 house.
Before joining Bigg Boss 16, Tina recalled her time with Colors and talked about Uttaran. She remarked, “Uttaran is and will always be close to my heart. When I signed it I had no clue we’d come so far. For 14 years Ichcha has lived with me and she will continue to. In her television series Uttaran, she played the roles of Ichcha and, following a major leap, Meethi. Along with others, it included crucial performances by Rashmi Desai, Nandish Sandhu, Mrunal Jain, Vaishali Thakkar, Gaurav Chopra, and Ayub Khan. Sparsh Khanchandani portrayed Ichcha's younger self. The show focused on the class gap between two women, who first meet when they are young and how it affects how their relationship develops over time.
