After a long time, Megastar Chiranjeevi managed to score a good hit with Waltair Veerayya, which was released for Sankranthi this year, on January 13th.
The movie is directed by Bobby Kolli, who managed to showcase Chiru in the actor's vintage glory. Right from the dialogu delivery to the costumes and Chiru's swag in the movie, and especially his dance moves, reflected the actor's prime time perfectly. All of this turned out to be huge assets for the film.
The film had good expectations on its since the trailer release. Upon release, the film received good reviews and turned out to be a massive blockbuster, earning good numbers at the box office.
Shruti Haasan is the leading lady of this film, in which Ravi Teja has played an important part. The scenes between Ravi and Chiru are said to be one of the major highlights of the film. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of this film, and his songs and background music have been received well by the audience.
Waltair Veerayya also features Prakash Raj, Catherine Tresa, Vennela Kishore, Srinivas Reddy and several others in important roles.
