Housefull 4 Box Office Collection Day 5: Akshay Kumar lands 5th 100 crore film in a row

In just 5 days since its release, Housefull 4 has become the most successful comedy Hindi film of the year. Now sitting at Rs. 111.82 crores, Housefull 4 also marks the 5th film to have collected Rs. 100 crore in a row for its lead Akshay Kumar. He had previously appeared in Mission Mangal and Kesari this year.

As per the latest reports, Housefull 4 collected a total of Rs 24 crores on its fifth day at the box office. While the film is seeing little competition from other Hindi films like Saand Ki Aankh and Made in China, it's the biggest rival currently is a Tamil film called Bigil. Housefull 4 has performed extremely well despite the harsh critical reviews the film had received. Most of its success is due to its release on the Diwali weekend. The collections might slow down now since ticket prices will go down from the coming Wednesday. Directed by Farhad Samji, Housefull 4 is the fourth installment in the large Housefull franchise.
