According to Box Office India, Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu and Vidya Balan starrer Mission Mangal got nearly 50-55% opening. This movie is based on the Mars Orbiter Mission of ISRO. When we consider about Hindi films then the film is the second-best opening of the year after Bharat. It is also the third-best after Avengers: Endgame while strongly followed by Kabir Singh and Captain Marvel.
As per BOI, fare prices are comparable to Bharat's, but the display number is lower with about 3100 screens and 10,500 displays across the nation. On the other side, Batla house has obtained an average opening of 20-25% and it is quite small as the Satyamev Jaayte film by John Abraham published last year on Independence Day.
Reports of advance booking indicate that Mission Mangal may also be one of the largest grossers. The film is 12th largest when it comes to pre-booking tickets. There were more than 15 crores in the collections. Talking about the highest position of all time, Avengers: Endgame takes the number one place and follows Bahubali: Conclusion, Avengers: Infinity War, Thugs of Hindostan and Tiger Zinda Hai among others.
Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal is co-produced by Cape of Good Films, Hope Productions, Fox Star Studios, Anil Naidu and Aruna Bhatia. On the other side, Nikkhil Advani directs the Batla house with John Abraham, Ravi Kishan and Mrunal Thakur.
