Pathaan 3rd Wednesday Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Draws Solid Crowds Even After 15 Days
Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham and directed by Siddharth Anand, is now vying with Baahubali 2 for the title of highest-grossing Hindi-language movie in terms of nett earnings.
After two weeks at the box office, the Siddharth Anand-directed film Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, is still doing well. Even though it began by using up much of its potential, the movie is still drawing very robust crowds in its third week. On its fifteenth day in Hindi, the movie made Rs. 6.50 cr., bringing its total to Rs. 435 cr. The movie has earned over 450 cr. in nett profit across all languages, and it is currently hovering around 451 cr. As a result of the low ticket prices and consequently low collections, the actual number of tickets sold is marginally lower than it was last Friday.
Pathaan will have yet another free week to bring in money with no real opposition. Shehzada, a Hindi film, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, an English picture, which are Pathaan's direct rivals, will both be released on February 17. For its Hindi version, Pathaan is moving closer to joining the elite Rs. 500 cr. club and becoming just the second Indian movie to do so. If the movie can maintain its momentum after the release of other major movies, it would be able to surpass the nett numbers Baahubali 2 posted during its entire run.
The movie has made approximately Rs. 880 cr. worldwide in 15 days, which is a highly appealing box office sum. Without much assistance from the Middle Kingdom and other unconventional movie markets, it will eventually join the Rs. 1000 cr. club and become the rare Indian film to surpass this milestone.
