Pathaan Week 1 Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Becomes The Fastest To Hit The 300 Cr. Mark In India

After earning 21 cr. nett on its seventh day in India, Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan surpassed Baahubali 2: The Conclusion to become the fastest Hindi film to exceed the 300 cr. mark. The first week's domestic box office earnings for Pathaan currently total 315 cr. nett. Pathaan, which also features Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Ashutosh Rana, and Dimple Kapadia, premiered on January 25.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who tweeted on Wednesday, Pathaan, which has been setting and shattering records since it was released worldwide, entered the 300 cr. club in just seven days, breaking the previous record held by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion's Hindi version since 2017, which needed 10 days to do so. He went on to say that the Hindi version of KGF: Chapter 2 (2022) surpassed the 300 cr. mark in 11 days, and Aamir Khan's Dangal (2016) took 13 days. It took 16 days for both Sanju (2018) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) to join the 300 cr. club. In contrast, it took Aamir's PK (2014) and Hrithik Roshan's War (2019), respectively, 17 and 19 days to reach the 300 cr. mark. According to reports, theatre owners in various regions of India decided to screen the movie early in the morning due to rising demand. Before Pathaan's opening day, sources stated that the morning showings of the movie had been cancelled due to protests outside Indore theatres. After receiving demands for a boycott and protests against the movie's cast and crew in recent weeks, Pathaan was finally released on January 25.
