The movie was expected to shatter Non-Baahubali2 records in almost all areas but ended up as All-time No.2 (non-Baahubali2) opening in Telugu states for Day 1. With no proper hires and negative talk from early shows resulted in shaky start for the film in Andhra region and poor start in Ceded region. However Sahoo was sensation in Nizam region with All-TIME RECORD record-breaking opening in this region.
