Shah Rukh Khan continues to be one of the biggest stars of Indian cinema currently. He has once again proven that with his latest film Pathaan, which was released on January 25th. The film has turned out to be a huge success, with the film minting money at the box office. Pathaan is directed by Siddharth Anand, who managed to give the audiences what they wanted and so much more.
The film is Siddharth's third consecutive hit, after Bang Bang and War. Incidentally, War had the record of the biggest pre-sales for any Bollywood movie until Pathaan broke those records recently. Pathaan also turned out to be the biggest opening film for Bollywood now, in its 3-day run, overtaking the numbers of Baahubali 2 and KGF 2 at the box office, which previously held that record.
Deepika Padukone is the leading lady of Pathaan, in where she has also been seen as a spy. John Abraham is the primary antagonist of this film, which has been produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner. The film is part of the Yash Raj Films spy universe, which began with Ek Tha Tiger and continued with Tiger Zinda Hai and War.
