As per the latest media communication from Sholka Entertainments, who released Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya and Nandamuri Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy in the USA, both these films have reached the break-even mark.
Shloka Entertainments have announced that Waltair Veerayya has collected $1.9 million and has reached the break-even mark. The film registered a pretty good weekend at the box office with three consecutive $300K+ days.
As for Veera Simha Reddy, the Balakrishna starrer made the most of the strong premieres that it had clocked - $708K from the premieres. And it has now jumped into the coveted $1 million club and has indeed breached the break-even mark.
Now that both Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya have reached the break-even mark, those involved with the USA distribution of these films are hoping to see good profits. Their theatrical run in the second weekend will determine the scale of the profits.
