It's been a really long time since the Telugu audiences got to see Megastar Chiranjeevi in his element. Ever since he made his comeback with Khaidi No. 150, something seemed to be missing, and that element is now back with a bang.
Megastar Chiranjeevi's latest film, Waltair Veerayya, is undoubtedly his best film since his comeback. The actor was back to his vintage glory, from looks to attitude to dance and everything else. This was a major feast for fans and general audiences alike. Waltair Veerayya was released on 13th January for this year's Sankranthi. The movie is directed by Bobby Kolli. WV turned out to be a huge success and is still running successfully in the theatres.
Shruti Haasan is the leading lady of this film, in which Ravi Teja was seen in a key role. Given that this is the first time that Chiru and Ravi Teja have collaborated, after more than 2 decades, everyone was interested to see how their scenes would turn out to be. Director Bobby's execution of their scenes lived up to the hype, with Chiru and Ravi's scenes turning out to be the major highlight of the film. When the duo danced together on the big screen, it was a true celebration. Catherine Tresa was seen as Ravi Teja's wife in the film and had little impact.
Devi Sri Prasad scored the songs and background music for the film, which turned out to be an asset for the film. Waltair Veerayya also features Prakash Raj, Catherine Tresa, Vennela Kishore, Srinivas Reddy, and several others in important roles.
