War box office collection day 6: Film expected to cross Rs 200 crores soon

Within less than a week since its release, War has already established itself as one of the biggest films of 2019. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in an action-packed film, War came out on Gandhi Jayanti. As per Taran Adarsh, Siddharth Anand’s film has collected Rs 187.75 crores at India box-office in 6 days. The film is well on its way to cross Rs 200 crore mark soon.

Like the predictions made by early estimates, the film has benefited from Ram Navami’s holiday on Monday. The film grossed Rs. 20 crores on that one day alone. We expect the holiday for Dussehra on Tuesday bring in even more profit for the film.

Hrithik’s father and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan praised Siddharth Anand’s film. Speaking about his son’s latest film, he said, “I really liked the film. Hrithik and Tiger have performed really well in the film. The director (Siddharth Anand) of the film has also done a good job. It’s a big film, and they have mounted it on a large scale. If anyone hasn’t watched it yet, then I would like to urge them to watch the film. I am feeling thrilled with the fact we have made a film in India which looks like a Hollywood film.”
