Thalapathy Vijay's Bigil released in Telugu with the title Whistle. The movie features Nayanthara in the leading lady. The film released in Telugu along with the Tamil version on the occasion of Diwali.

After a decent first week collection, Whistle has a good second week at the box-office in the Telugu States. The film has collected a distributor share of around 10.50 Cr in its 14 days run. It has already emerged as the career-best film for Vijay in AP/TS crossing his previous best Sarkar which had collected 8.50 Cr share. The film is a success in the Telugu States.
