‘Yashoda’ Box-Office Collection Sees A Dip Despite No Competition At The Ticket Window

Samantha's 'Yashoda' was released in theatres last Friday and has gotten positive reviews for its topic and acting. The film reportedly grossed more than $500,000 in the United States. However, it could not maintain consistency throughout the weekdays due to a significant decline in collections. According to reports, the film saw a bad trend on the first two days of this week and is already flashing dangerous signals of no footfalls in a few locations.

The death of Superstar Krishna may have been one of the reasons for the film's drop at the box office, as a few movie halls have also been closed owing to a lack of audience.

Despite the fact that there is no significant competition at the box office. According to reports, the picture is not attracting audiences to the theatres. The film is said to have earned over Rs 25 crores so far, and on Tuesday it earned over Rs 90 lakhs in Telugu and 20 lakhs in Tamil, but not so well in other languages.

Hari-Harish wrote and directed the action thriller, and Samantha played the titular role alongside Unni Mukundan, Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, and Murali Sharma.
