One of India's biggest film festival, Jio MAMI International film festival is all set to begin from the 17th of this month. Around 200 films from across the world are played at this seven-day event. Many theatres across the Mumbai city will play films.
All the movies are a part of 18 categories which include both competitive and non-competitive sections. The categories of this year's MAMI film festival are Opening Film, India Gold, India Story, World Cinema, Rendezvous with French Cinema, Spotlight, After Dark, International Competition, Dimensions Mumbai, Special Presentation Egyptian cinema, Qatar India 2019 Year of Culture, Restored Classics, Special Presentation: Kaifinama, Marathi Talkies, Discovering India, MAMI Tribute, Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films and Half Ticket.
Many filmmakers have gotten a platform to showcase their talent to the varied types of the audience through this festival. Many film buffs are also eagerly waiting to watch some of the finest films made across the world, during this festival.
