Ayan Mukerji-Ranbir Kapoor team's 'Brahmastra' has given a new lease of life to the Hindi film industry, which has not seen much success in recent times. In the first three days of its release, the film collected Rs 120 crore from India alone. It is reported that the film is becoming a wave in the international entertainment field as well.
Brahmastra has got a good start in Australia, New Zealand and America. The makers claim that the film will top the global hit charts this weekend. According to American box office tracking agencies, the film's first three-day global collection is Rs 212 crore. 'Brahmastra' broke Bollywood film Sultan's record of 206 crores. But Brahmastra has not been able to beat the record of Rajamouli film RRR.
Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy in lead roles, Brahmastra also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Shah Rukh Khan in cameos. Released as 'Brahmastra: Part 1- Shiva', the film belongs to the fantasy action-adventure genre. 'Brahmastra: Part 1- Shiva' is the first part of the three-film series titled Astraverse.
